These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Persistfolio, including its website, subscription services, quantitative research, model portfolios, and related content. By accessing or using Persistfolio, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. About Persistfolio

Persistfolio is a quantitative research platform and financial research publisher. Persistfolio publishes standardized, rules-based model portfolios and related quantitative research for informational and educational purposes.

The same published model portfolios and research are made available to subscribers generally and are not personalized based on an individual subscriber's financial circumstances, investment objectives, risk tolerance, or portfolio.

2. No Personalized Investment Advice

Persistfolio does not provide personalized investment advice or individualized investment recommendations.

Persistfolio does not evaluate whether any security, model portfolio, investment strategy, or allocation is appropriate or suitable for you.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to use information published by Persistfolio and for making your own investment decisions.

3. No Investment Management or Brokerage Services

Persistfolio does not:

  • Manage investor assets or accounts
  • Take custody of investor assets
  • Connect to or access brokerage accounts
  • Execute or direct trades
  • Place orders on behalf of subscribers
  • Provide individualized portfolio management
  • Provide individualized investment consultations

Any investment activity undertaken by a subscriber is conducted independently through the subscriber's own financial institution or brokerage.

4. Model Portfolios

Persistfolio publishes standardized model portfolios constructed and maintained according to a proprietary, rules-based quantitative methodology.

Model portfolios are research outputs and do not represent actual investor accounts.

Portfolio holdings and composition may change according to Persistfolio's predefined methodology and review process.

Persistfolio does not guarantee that any model portfolio will achieve a particular return, outperform the S&P 500 or any other benchmark, or avoid losses.

5. Performance Information

Persistfolio may publish historical or hypothetical analysis and prospectively tracked model portfolio performance.

Historical or hypothetical results do not represent an investment or model portfolio that actually existed during the historical period shown.

Prospective model portfolio performance represents the tracked performance of a published model and does not represent the performance of an actual investor account.

Actual investor results may differ due to trade timing, execution prices, transaction costs, fees, taxes, contributions, withdrawals, and other individual circumstances.

Past performance, whether historical, hypothetical, or prospectively tracked, does not guarantee future results.

6. Proprietary Methodology and Intellectual Property

Persistfolio's quantitative methodology, including its formulas, statistical methods, thresholds, scoring mechanics, coefficients, software, algorithms, and implementation details, is proprietary.

Your subscription provides access to published research outputs and model portfolio information. It does not grant you ownership of, or rights to reproduce, reverse engineer, extract, redistribute, resell, systematically copy, or commercially exploit Persistfolio's proprietary methodology, content, or services.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Persistfolio subscriptions are billed according to the pricing and subscription terms presented at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period until canceled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewal. Cancellation does not terminate access immediately; you will generally retain access through the end of the subscription period already paid for.

8. Refund Policy

Persistfolio provides immediate access to digital research content and published model portfolios upon subscription.

Because access to digital content is provided immediately, subscription payments are generally non-refundable. Canceling a subscription prevents future renewal but does not ordinarily result in a refund for the current subscription period.

Persistfolio will provide refunds where required by applicable law.

9. Account Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.

Your account is intended for your individual use and may not be shared, transferred, resold, or made available to unauthorized third parties.

Persistfolio may suspend or terminate access in cases of unauthorized account sharing, misuse of the service, or material violation of these Terms.

10. Acceptable Use

You may use Persistfolio and its published research for your own informational and research purposes.

You may not systematically reproduce, scrape, republish, distribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Persistfolio's content, model portfolios, data, or proprietary research outputs without prior written permission.

11. Data and Service Availability

Persistfolio relies on financial market data and other information obtained from third-party sources. While reasonable efforts are made to maintain accurate information, Persistfolio does not guarantee that all data will be complete, accurate, current, or error-free.

Persistfolio does not guarantee uninterrupted or continuous availability of the website or service.

12. Risk

Investing in securities involves risk, including the possible loss of principal.

Quantitative methodologies may fail to identify future outperformers. Companies with persistent historical outperformance may subsequently underperform. Model portfolios may underperform their benchmark for extended periods or permanently.

Nothing published by Persistfolio guarantees investment success or protection against loss.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Persistfolio and its owners, operators, and service providers will not be liable for investment losses, trading losses, lost profits, or other damages arising from investment decisions made based on or influenced by information available through Persistfolio.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Changes to the Service or These Terms

Persistfolio may modify its services, features, pricing, or these Terms from time to time.

When material changes are made to these Terms, users may be required to review and accept an updated version before continuing to use the service.

15. Termination

You may stop using Persistfolio at any time.

Persistfolio may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary due to violations of these Terms, misuse of the service, security concerns, or legal requirements.
